Who are we?

Yesterday's Names was created by Yvonne Graves, who has been researching her own and other people's family histories for over 30 years, and is also an avid collector of antiquarian books.

Having accumulated a vast collection of Victorian parish magazines, it seemed a good idea to index the magazine collection to make the wealth of unique genealogical data that they contain available to other family history researchers.

And so Yesterday's Names was born.
