CD. Parish Magazine name index and page images. This CD contains an index created by Yesterday’s Names listing all of the people mentioned in the monthly issues of Windermere S. Mary’s Parish Magazine published in the above years (except for the March 1886 issue), as well as scanned images of all of the local pages of the magazines (usually 4 pages each month). Events listed include Baptisms (many with names of parents), Marriages, Burials, Traders, and Miscellaneous records. (These magazines contain less parish news than most, consisting mainly of lists of baptisms, marriages and burials, and a monthly list of local traders.) There are over 2,100 name references in the index, but please note that many of these are for local traders’ adverts, repeated each month.
